Tony Jennison, President (RY 2026-2027 President)
Tony was born in Burra in South Australia’s Mid North and has lived in several places throughout his life, including Burra, Adelaide, Whyalla, and Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. His career has been diverse, spanning roles such as primary school teacher and principal, owner and manager of a training company, bookshop manager, tour guide, HR manager, and director within a large Indigenous organisation.
Tony’s interests are equally wide‑ranging. He enjoys bushwalking, touring, sport, community service, reading, playing golf, and socialising.
Paul Della, Immediate Past President, Rotary Foundation, Fellowship and Fundraising
Paul joined Rotary in 2012 with the Rotary Club of Stuart in Alice Springs. During this time he took on many roles including Community Services Director (2013-2014) for which he was awarded the Club’s Rotarian of the Year Award and the role of Club President (2014-2015, and co President initially in 2015-6) before moving to NSW.
While in Alice Springs Paul was a Committee Member and then Treasurer of the legendary Rotary Henley on Todd dry river boat race, an event put on by the three Rotary Clubs in Alice Springs. In NSW, Paul joined the Rotary Club of Tenterfield , before moving to Glen Innes in 2016 , joining the Rotary Club there, then back to the Rotary Club of Tenterfield again in 2018 when he moved back for work.
Paul moved back home to Adelaide in 2021 and joined the Rotary Club of Glenelg and is currently the Immediate Past President having had the honour and privilege of being President in 2024-25. Paul is continuing his Rotary work as the Club Administration Director and is heavily involved in organising an event being put on in November this year (Sunday November 23) at Moana Beach and surrounds called “Purple Waves of Change” – A Rotary Says No To Family and Domestic Violence Community Day. This is an event being run by the 10 Rotary Clubs in Rotary Adelaide South & Fleurieu
Wayne Sachs, Club Secretary
Wayne Sachs brings a wealth of professional experience and leadership to the role of Club Secretary. A dedicated educator by profession, Wayne built a distinguished career as a school teacher before serving as a School Principal, where he demonstrated strong organisational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to community development.
He completed his Bachelor of Education and later a Master’s in Social Work at Flinders University, strengthening both his academic foundation and his understanding of people, wellbeing, and social systems.
As Club Secretary, Wayne is committed to maintaining transparent communication, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and contributing positively to the ongoing growth and success of the club.
Rina Macaraig, Club Administrator
Rina brings a strong combination of community leadership, volunteer service, and technology expertise to Rotary.
A former Local and Regional Training Director with Junior Chamber International (JCI), she has mentored and developed young leaders through leadership and skills training programs. Her commitment to service also includes volunteering with Gawad Kalinga, where she coached students and interns, facilitated leadership workshops, and supported fundraising and community development initiatives.
Passionate about education, she has developed IT learning modules, delivered mobile university sessions in rural communities, and provided tutoring support to students facing barriers to learning.
Professionally, she has held a range of IT leadership roles, including Director for Business Management in the Philippines, and currently serves as a Software Engineering Manager supporting technology solutions that help deliver essential healthcare services across Australia.
Roz Janzow, Treasurer
Roz joined Rotary in August, 2019 and with 12 months had taken over the role of
Treasurer. With a background in finance, Roz has been keeping the books for the club for 5 years. Her management of the club accounts has been a standout on the board. Members are updated on our finances every month with clear and accurate information that the members can clearly understand. The board is also advised of the club’s financial position so that donations can be wisely spent.
Roz and her sister Maxine Spencer spend time volunteering on the Brighton Railway project, organized through the Rail Care network. There is certainly a big change in the area, thanks to the green thumbs of the club! Roz’s work was acknowledged in June, 2022, when she was awarded a Paul Harris
Fellowship.
Tera Salud, International Director
Tera’s Rotary journey began in primary school as a member of the Interact Club, continued through university as a Rotaractor, and led to her becoming a Rotarian in the Philippines in 2018.
A passionate advocate for education and community development, Tera has dedicated much of her volunteer work to supporting disadvantaged communities in remote areas of the Philippines. Since 2019, she has led Helping Hands for a Better Society, a grassroots volunteer initiative focused on providing educational support, community outreach, and assistance to those in need through volunteer-driven projects.
After relocating to South Australia, Tera joined the Rotary Club of Glenelg in 2025, where she continues her commitment to creating opportunities through education, service, and community engagement.
Alison Rogers, Community Service Director
Alison Rogers joined Rotary in 2002 with the Rotary Club of Brighton.
During this time she took on many roles includingClub Secretary (2013-2015), Club President (2007-2008, 2012-2013). Following the closure of the Brighton club in 2015, she was welcomed into the Glenelg club along with 4 other members from Brighton.
During her time at Glenelg she has undertaken the following roles Club Vice President (2024-2025), Club President (2022-2024), Club Membership Chair (2020-2022),Club Foundation Chair (2016-2019). Alison has guided the club through the Fit For Purpose program as their delegate. This involved training in Sydney and setting club goals for increasing membership and modernising the club’s culture. So far all but one goal has been achieved and the last one is a “work in progress”.
Alison is on the District Committee for Long Term Youth Exchange. She has a passion for teenagers that excel in their schooling and extracurricular activities, with a view to giving them the life changing experience of 12 months in another country. She has also hosted a student from Spain and has been a counsellor for many inbound and outbound students.
During her 22 years in Rotary, she has been awarded 5 Paul Harris Fellow for her Service above Self. She is continuing her Rotary work as the Community Service Director for this year.
Rebecca Heinjus, Youth Director
Rebecca Heinjus brings in enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders.
Passionate about youth development, Rebecca works to connect young people with opportunities that build confidence, leadership skills, community engagement, and personal growth. Through Rotary’s youth programs and initiatives, she helps inspire young people to reach their potential while making a positive difference in their communities.
As Youth Director, Rebecca is committed to fostering meaningful experiences for young people and strengthening the connection between Rotary and future community leaders. Her energy and dedication reflect Rotary’s enduring commitment to investing in youth and creating lasting impact.
David Binks, Membership and Public Image Director
David Binks is one of the Rotary Club of Glenelg’s most respected and longstanding members, with an extraordinary commitment to Rotary spanning more than six decades. His dedication to service, leadership, and youth development has left a lasting impact on countless individuals and communities.
A prominent figure in South Australia’s boating industry, David has combined his professional expertise with his passion for community service throughout his career. He is particularly recognised for his advocacy of youth development programs and was instrumental in establishing Rotary’s Sailing Challenge, providing young people with opportunities to build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and resilience through sail training experiences.
As Membership Director for the Rotary Club of Glenelg, David continues to share his experience, wisdom, and enthusiasm for Rotary, helping welcome and inspire new generations of Rotarians.

Peter Corbett, Minute Secretary
Minute Secretary
Peter Corbett is a dedicated Rotarian who plays a key role in supporting the governance, compliance, and administration of the Rotary Club of Glenelg. He currently serves as both Executive Secretary and Protection & Compliance Officer, helping ensure the club operates effectively and in accordance with Rotary standards and best practices.
Known for his attention to detail and commitment to service, Peter brings a practical and collaborative approach to club operations, supporting members, projects, and community initiatives behind the scenes. His focus on strong governance and member wellbeing helps create a positive and welcoming environment for all.
Through his leadership and dedication, Peter embodies Rotary’s values of integrity, fellowship, and Service Above Self.
